I was really looking forward to this book after reading the back cover, and boy was I disappointed. The first chapter is drama, drama, drama amid all the swearing.

Once again, Riordan delivers a fun-filled adventure story using Egyptian mythology.

I find the Kane Chronicles even more fun to read than the Percy Jackson series for which Riordan is best
