I was really looking forward to this book after reading the back cover, and boy was I disappointed. The first chapter is drama, drama, drama amid all the swearing. The second chapter got a slight bit better (I could actually sort of follow who was who and why they were all here) but it was a slog to do so. So I skipped a few chapters hoping it would get better; unfortunately it continued in the same unreadable vein. So I skipped a few more chapters; still no good (at least the amount of swearing and general hysteria calmed down).

There’s a difference in starting out in the action and being completely lost in it. And the “humor” left me cold.
